Dr. Elena Vidrascu is a Data Scientist at the Winston Center. She previously completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she also earned her PhD in Neuroscience. Her research has previously focused on the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying hazardous alcohol use during adolescence. Currently, her work examines how habitual social media use relates to developmental changes in brain function and subsequent risky decision-making, including substance use.
